Additions: Game Rules

A game of beautiful images, unique correspondences, and unexpected patterns. Players build grids and chains of cards, and the game challenges their ability to spot unique similarities or unexpected patterns across those cards.

The cards themselves are “collage cards,” featuring images and textures laid out in formally elegant arrangements, curated by the collaborative duo of Morphic Rooms (collage artists allison anne and Jeremy P. Bushnell). 

The cards—available as a separate download, or for purchase as physical copies direct from Morphic Rooms—are also designed for creative reuse, including as assets for your own games. All the content was either sourced from or has been donated to the public domain (CC0), so the cards are free for you to use or share, without restriction. Cut them up, tear them apart, glue them together, add them to your art materials, remix them a hundred different ways.

Note: Read the third-party license governing use of our work. We designed the ADDITIONS cards (in both their physical and digital forms) for creative reuse. And we want to make it possible for you to create things using ADDITIONS without having to wait for our review process or approval. The images in ADDITIONS are public domain, but the configurations and layouts are not. You may copyright work using ADDITIONS cards, but you cannot copyright these images themselves.

Important: Our unique image configurations–the layouts and juxtapositions of each individual card– may not be replicated in whole, and may not be replicated in part unless part of a transformative reworking, as defined by the fair use clauses in the US Copyright Code. You may not make NFTs that utilize our layouts or juxtapositions in any form. We reserve the right to take legal action against anyone who breaches this term.
